This past Saturday, May 14, the Carolina Comfort Air team laced up their running shoes and took part in the 48th Annual My Kid’s Club Railroad Days 5K Run/Walk in Selma, NC. We are proud to have been both participants and sponsors of this incredible event, which continues to support the important work of My Kid’s Club.
A Long-Running Tradition for a Great Cause
The Railroad Days 5K is the longest-running 5K event in North Carolina, and for nearly five decades, it has brought together runners, walkers, and supporters to raise funds for under-resourced children in our community. Proceeds from the race go directly to My Kid’s Club, an organization committed to providing children with vital resources, programs, and mentorship to help them thrive.
The event has raised over $140,000 in the past, and with a strong turnout this year, we’re confident that the 2024 race will bring even more support to the children who need it most. It was inspiring to see so many community members come together for this shared goal.
