This past March, the Carolina Comfort Air team came together for an afternoon of fun, friendly competition, and team building at the Spring Comfort Classic golf event. Held at the beautiful Southern Wayne Country Club, the event was a resounding success and a fantastic opportunity to bring the team closer together outside the workplace.
A Tradition in the Making
Following the success of the inaugural Fall Comfort Classic last year, there was a lot of excitement and anticipation for this spring’s event. Many team members expressed interest in making the Comfort Classic a biannual tradition, and the Spring Comfort Classic did not disappoint.
Fun and Fair Competition
The event kicked off at 1:00 PM with a 4-man scramble format, keeping the game engaging and accessible for golfers of all skill levels. Teams were randomly drawn on the day of the event to keep things fair and to encourage interaction among colleagues. A modest $20 buy-in added a bit of friendly stakes to the game, with the winning team taking home the cash prize and plenty of bragging rights.
Building Bonds and Boosting Morale
While the competition was lively, the primary focus of the event was team building. It was great to see colleagues cheering each other on, strategizing together, and sharing laughs throughout the course. Events like the Comfort Classic are a reminder of how important it is to foster camaraderie and teamwork in a relaxed, enjoyable setting.
